Why can the numbers differ?
Source systems may show raw delivery data, while HARPS calculates the net impressions that are eligible for billing. Different date ranges, business rules, or processing steps can cause the totals to differ.
What Billing does
If a line fails validation, Billing compares HARPS with the source report, confirms the correct audited impression count, and updates the value before billing continues.
Example
A source system counts every impression it delivered. HARPS leaves out impressions delivered outside the campaign's scheduled dates, so only the remaining net impressions are billed.
